The therapist Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as licensed clinical social worker who is bicultural and bilingual. She has experience working with many different populations, including LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of intimate partner violence. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is currently offering access to Behavioral Health Services via telehealth. Mrs. Rivas belongs to the Perinatal Behavioral Health team that works with pregnancies and postpartum woman. She is trained in adult EMDR and trauma-informed. She also offers group and private counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals for special care facilities, as well as women's support groups. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society, helping homeless animals find forever new homes. She believes in the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them All" She is determined to turn Los Angeles into a city where animals aren't killed.
